At Lenny's Pup Shop, we believe that keeping your furry friends happy and stimulated is just as important as providing them with high-quality treats and toys. That's why we love sharing fun and engaging enrichment activities that you can do at home with your pups. Here is our “Enrichment Lickmat” activity we use with Lenny to keep him entertained and mentally stimulated.

Enrichment Lickmat using LPS treats

A lick mat is a fantastic tool to keep your dog engaged and happy. Here's a simple yet delightful activity using a lick mat and some of our favorite LPS treats.

What You'll Need:

• A lick mat

• Natural & unsweetened Greek yoghurt

• Your choice of LPS treat (here I’m using Fish Fingers & Beef Liver Snaps)

• Optional: Fruit or vegetables

Instructions:

1. Use 3-4 tablespoons of Greek yoghurt on the lick mat, ensuring it covers the entire surface.

2. Take your favorite LPS treat and break it into small pieces. Sprinkle these pieces over the yoghurt.

3. For an added twist, you can incorporate some dog-safe fruits or vegetables, like blueberries, strawberries, or carrot pieces.

4. Once everything is in place, pop the lick mat into the freezer for 3-4 hours and serve!.

Freezing the lick mat makes this activity last longer and provides a cooling treat for your pup on hot days. Your dog will love the challenge of licking off the frozen yoghurt and discovering the hidden treats!
